Fútbol Fever Expands to City Green for FIFA World Cup 26™  

Soccer fever is rising in Sandy Springs during the FIFA World Cup 26™. As a result, Fútbol Fever is expanding to City Green for select knock-off, semifinal and final matches at City Springs, creating what promises to be the greatest public viewing experience in the North Metro area. 

Fans can gather on City Green for free public watch parties on: 

• Sunday, June 28 at 3 p.m.  

• Saturday, July 11 at 5 p.m.  

• Saturday, July 18 at 5 p.m.  

• Sunday, July 19 at 3 p.m.  

The Fútbol Fever experience on City Green will feature two 14’ screens for optimal live-match viewing, a large blow-up soccer goal, pop-up bars, food trucks, and plenty of room for fans to bring a soccer ball and enjoy the festivities. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and bring their tailgate chairs and blankets. 

Known as the best backyard in Sandy Springs, City Springs features a splash pad and an array of restaurants within walking distance to City Green. Food trucks will be on site one hour before match time and the City Green will close at 10:00 p.m. If a match extends beyond that time, soccer enthusiasts are encouraged to continue the celebration in the adjacent CityBar. & Cafe, where later matches will remain available for viewing. 

Additionally, the CityBar. & Café patio will transform into the Visit Sandy Springs Clubhouse on every City Green Watch Party date. This open-air gathering space will feature: 

• A fan zone featuring locker room-inspired décor 

• Exclusive Visit Sandy Springs merchandise 

• Interactive halftime entertainment, including trivia, jersey contests, and fan competitions 

• Giveaways and special activations throughout the tournament. 

The Visit Sandy Springs Clubhouse is designed to keep vibes high throughout the tournament and provide fans with unique opportunities to connect with fellow supporters. In addition to being open for the above dates, the Visit Sandy Springs Clubhouse will welcome soccer fans on June 19. 

For fans looking to beat the summer heat or seeking an even more elevated viewing experience, the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center will open the doors to Studio Theatre for a premium indoor experience including a viewing area equipped with plush couches and large-screen displays, complimentary food prepared by the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center Executive Chef, a cash bar, and private restrooms.  

The dates of the Studio Theatre experience will mirror that of the City Green Watch Parties – June 28, July 11, July 18, and July 19. Admission is free for Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center members, while non-members may purchase entry on the day of the event for $75. Apart from the Studio Theatre experience, all other Fútbol Fever events are free and open to the public.
