Family Fun, Don McLean, and Fireworks Headline Sandy Springs’ 2026 Stars & Stripes Celebration

Get ready for an unforgettable, star-spangled evening as the City of Sandy Springs hosts its annual Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration on Saturday, July 4, at City Springs.

To celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary, this year’s celebration will feature a very special performance by legendary singer-songwriter Don McLean, best known for the iconic hit “American Pie,” bringing a once-in-a-generation soundtrack to this historic milestone.

Perfect for families and friends of all ages, this beloved community event kicks off at 4 p.m. and builds toward an exciting night of live entertainment and patriotic celebration. The night culminates in a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 p.m., lighting up the Sandy Springs sky in honor of Independence Day and America 250.

Come hungry, food trucks will begin serving at 6 p.m., offering a wide variety of delicious options. Guests are also welcome to bring picnics or enjoy nearby restaurants. For everyone’s safety, tents and personal sparklers are not permitted.
