
City Manager Andrea Surratt Resigns; Deputy Named Acting Manager

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. (Nov. 17, 2021) — Sandy Springs City Manager Andrea Surratt resigned her position, effective Wednesday, Nov. 17, citing personal reasons.
"I want to thank Ms. Surratt for her contributions to the City," said Mayor Rusty Paul. "I am grateful for the work she did on behalf of the citizens of Sandy Springs, and I wish her all the best in the future."
Council named Deputy City Manager Dave Wells as acting city manager until a permanent replacement is selected.
Surratt became Sandy Springs' city manager in January 2020, after serving in the same capacity in Bozeman, Mont. A search for her permanent replacement will begin immediately.
