CiSandy Springs’ Super Star Dance Returns to Provide Inclusive Prom Experience
February 23, 2026
Teens and adults with developmental or physical disabilities are invited to an unforgettable inclusive prom celebration on March 20 for the Super Star Dance, an event so special it has been featured in People magazine.
This joyful evening is designed to celebrate individuality, confidence, and community. Every attendee will be crowned Prom King or Prom Queen, because at this event, everyone is royalty.
Guests will enjoy a lively dance floor with a professional DJ spinning favorite hits, along with food and refreshments. Each participant will also receive a souvenir photo and a goody bag to remember the night.
While semi-formal attire is encouraged, comfort comes first. Superstar Dancers are invited to wear whatever makes them feel confident, comfortable, and themselves. Adding an extra touch of glamour, Superstar Dancers with disabilities will be treated to free hair styling, men's grooming, and makeup on event day, courtesy of the team at Paul Mitchell the School Esani. An appointment link for these services will be released closer to the event date.
The Super Star Dance is open to ages 13 through adult, with a registration fee of $10 per attendee. Space is limited, and all attendees must be registered in advance. During checkout, participants are asked to register and indicate their participation role.
Scholarships are available by application. For more information, email recreation@sandyspringsga.gov.
This prom is more than a dance — it's a celebration of inclusion, dignity, and joy.
